Collection
Revenge romance stories start with a betrayal and end with the heroine getting even, sometimes with a slap, sometimes with a recording, sometimes by walking into the room where everyone laughed at her. The romance lives in the reckoning. The man who did her wrong has to watch her win, and the reader gets to enjoy every second of it. Payback is the point, and the love story is what makes it hurt.
Try The Godfather Isn't Dead, where a Mafia husband locks his wife in ice water while his capos drink champagne, and she makes one call. Then read Not Crazy, Just Ready, where a woman who has been told for three years that she is paranoid stops screaming and starts collecting evidence. The Birthday Bill is another favorite, where a werewolf husband freezes every card she owns and the Lycan Queen stops hiding.
Every revenge story on Plotlume is complete, with a real ending, and every one takes under an hour to read. You get the satisfying payoff in one sitting, not a teaser for next week. The opening of each story can be read on our website, so you can see the setup and decide if the revenge is worth the wait.
